DAWA is not over!
As a project partner of the DAWA festival, The Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai is showing the exhibition AccessAbility at Urbancross Gallery on Saturday October 22nd until October 30th .
We invite you to explore the stories and the power of 26 individuals from Sweden and China. They come from various walks of life and have different types of disabilities. Together their common message is that impairment does not determine who you are – they all represent themselves, not their disabilities.AccessAbility illustrates that all individuals can contribute to creating a more diverse and equal society. The exhibition is a co-production between the Swedish Institute, the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai and curated by Danish Cultural Center, supported by Urbancross gallery. Markus Marcetic and Cong Yan did the portraits, the biographies have been collected by Cong Yan and Rikard Lagerberg.
